The subsidiary purchased roughly 2,395 BTC at a mean value of $17,871 per coin between Nov. 1 and Dec. 21. It then bought about 704 BTC at $16,776 per coin on Dec. 22. Macrostrategy then purchased about 810 extra BTC at $16,845 per coin on Dec. 24. On the time of writing, bitcoin is buying and selling at $16,656.80.

The bitcoin sale in December marked the primary time Microstrategy bought its bitcoin because it started accumulating the crypto for its company treasury in 2020.
